Vincent Fortune Damanka (top, third from right), Executive Director
Vincent grew up in Vakpo and attended the Vakpo Adomi R/C Primary School. He pursued a Bachelor degree from the University of Cape Coast, Ghana. As the executive director he is responsible for the organization and its projects. Important in his work is to keep a good relationship with the important players in our projects as well as with our partners.
Gloria Damanka (top, second from left), Country Director & Administrative Officer
Hailing from Germany, Gloria completed her Bachelor degree at the Hanze University of Groningen, Netherlands. She first came to Ghana in 2009 for a semester abroad. She is responsible for the administrative management of the organization as well as for the well being of the volunteers and interns.
Roger Mohammed (bottom left), Volunteer Coordinating Assistant
Roger grew up in the Upper East Region and completed his Bachelor degree at the University for Development Studies in Wa, Ghana. He is supporting us in the implementation of our projects as well as organizing and holding our workshops in Accra and the project region.
Furthermore, we also host weltwärts-volunteers from Germany every year and are supported by interns on a regular basis.
